Selena Mitchell, AMFT
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step, and I understand the courage it takes to reach out. My role is to provide a judgment-free space where we can collaborate on your journey to healing and well-being.
My approach is integrative psychotherapy, a holistic method that draws from attachment-based, depth-oriented therapies like Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Psychodynamic
Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. In my experience of working with patients as a holistic healthcare provider, I’ve observed the often-unacknowledged emotional challenges beneath physical suffering and am inspired by the profound influence of the psychological realm and its complex integration with physical and spiritual health.
Having worked with diverse individuals across various backgrounds and life stages for several decades, I value your unique perspective and strive to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Whether you’re facing challenges like depression, anxiety, or grief, or seeking greater self-awareness and a more fulfilling life, my intent is to help you cultivate meaning, openness, and inner peace. My clinical stance is client-centered, collaborative, and rooted in compassion.
If you’re interested in exploring how therapy can support your personal growth, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. I look forward to connecting with you.

Teresita Garcia, AMFT
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Welcome, my name is Teresita Garcia, and I am an Associate Marriage
and Family Therapist. I am a self-motivated, self-directed, diligent, and
highly organized individual. I take pride in being hardworking and persistent when it comes to achieving my goals. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with a diverse range of clients.
My motivation has always been to help others who may be struggling to understand their challenges. As a clinician, my goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of others and guide them in creating a healthier, more fulfilling world. This goal inspired me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I truly believe that every client has the innate ability to grow and become their truest self. I align most with Solution-Focused and Experiential Family Therapy, as I believe these approaches help individuals identify their emotions, leading to self-growth. I look forward to meeting you and helping you face the challenges life may bring.
I was born and raised in Orange County and earned my Bachelor’s Degree
from California State University, Long Beach, and my Master’s Degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills. My clinical experience primarily involves working with adolescents, but I have also worked with individuals
of all ages. I am passionate about helping others achieve self-empowerment and self-acceptance. I draw inspiration from Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and renowned therapist Virginia Satir, incorporating art therapy interventions to help clients process and express repressed emotions.
For self-care, I enjoy creating art and crafts, which helps me stay grounded
and inspired. I look forward to meeting you and being of support in your journey towards healing.

Meet the team
Hannah Button, AMFT
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Hello! My name is Hannah Button, and I am an Associate Marriage
and Family Therapist and End-of-Life Doula.
In my work, I strive to help my clients feel safe and supported while doing
deep work to explore big picture themes, traumas, and barriers to success
in their lives. I also work to balance this heavy processing by collaborating
with you to identify small, concrete, and approachable steps to begin
providing you some relief in your day-to-day life.
As a neurodivergent counselor, I particularly excel at working with neurodivergent clients, and enjoy helping others to find new ways to work
with their brains instead of against them. I understand that, particularly for women and people of color, resources for neurodivergent people are often very restricted, and will work with you to identify and overcome the unique barriers and needs you are facing in your life. I also have a passion for
helping fellow LGBTQ+ folks to navigate gender transition, shifting or fluid identities, and intimate/family relationships.
I work to provide trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based therapy, using DBT, parts work, somatic processing, and more to support
you in slowing down and exploring how you are experiencing your own life.
My sessions are highly collaborative and strengths-based, and I enjoy integrating play and creativity for all ages. In addition to neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients, I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, adolescence, older adulthood, end-of-life and grief, as well as life transitions of all kinds. Whether you have just gotten married, lost a loved one, re-entered the workforce, left a relationship, became a parent, or are reflecting back on previous life changes and dreams, I am here to support you in stepping into
a new phase of life or embracing your current one.
When I am not working, I enjoy crafting, reading, trivia nights, and training my Golden Retriever, who I hope will one day join me in my work as a certified therapy animal.
